IMPORTANT INFORMATION
There are some key details about the Independent Publishing Network that should be understood while you publish your paper with LISD- ARICON Conference Proceedings. All abstracts/proposals will be published online after the conference and uploaded on ARICON’s website. All submitted conference papers will be blind peer reviewed.
Papers submitted and presented at the conference will be published in the conference proceedings, subject to their acceptance by the review committee, immediately after the conference. Conference Proceedings will be available to view and download from ARICON’s website. To be considered for publication in the conference proceedings, submitted papers must strictly adhere to our prescribed in-house referencing style i.e, Harvard Citing and Referencing Style.
Each conference proceeding will have a unique digit International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) and/or International Standard Book Number (ISBN) code. All Conference Proceedings are yearly submitted for evaluation and indexing in ISI Web of Science, Web of Knowledge, Thomson Reuters, Elsevier products, SCOPUS, ProQuest, Nielson and Google Scholar.
If you want your paper to be considered for publication, kindly submit your full paper before Paper submission deadline, following the paper submission guidelines. Conference Proceedings Publication Date: In general, conference proceedings are published within FOUR weeks after each conference.
PUBLISHER AND DISTRIBUTOR
‘Independent Publishing Network’ is listed as the book’s publisher and distributor in Nielsen’s system. Some websites (e.g. Amazon and Create-Space) ask for an “Imprint” or “Publisher” name. If you are asked for this, please type ‘Independent Publishing Network’. This imprint doesn’t affect self-publishers but may limit opportunities for publishing through established publishers, who could require an ISBN with their own imprint.
REGISTRATION
All the LISD-ARICON Conference Proceedings are registered and this information will be sent out via their data products to UK bookshops, libraries and distributors, plus their international data customers. This means that if you walk into a UK bookstore, their conference proceedings will be on their shop system, making it easier for them to order it.
WHERE OUR ISBN NUMBERS ARE ACCEPTED
To the best of our knowledge, our members are using our ISBN numbers on their books in a large number of places in the UK, including with Foyles, Waterstones, Createspace, Bertram Books, Amazon.co.uk, Amazon.com, Amazon.com Marketplace, Kindle E-Reader, AbeBooks, Barnes & Noble, Valore Books, Biblio, eCampus.com, TextbookRush, and many others. However, we cannot guarantee that any particular bookseller, distributor, wholesaler, or third party will accept the ISBN numbers that we issue (as policies/requirements of distributors and booksellers can change at any time), therefore you will need to check with your distributor or bookseller directly to find out what their current ISBN policy is.
LEGAL DEPOSIT
A copy of all of the conference proceedings publications are sent to the British Library (free of charge) within a month of publication. This is a legal requirement. There is another organisation in Edinburgh called the Agency for Legal Deposit Libraries. For more information please https://bookisbn.org.uk/legal-deposit
