Boston Awards for Excellence (BAE) have been recognizing, rewarding, and promoting the excellence people accomplished from various walks of life. Endorsed by OXCC and LISD, UK, the BAE is firmly established as a benchmark for excellence in today’s competitive work and life environment.

THE AWARDS CATEGORIES
Boston Award for Excellence in Educational Leadership
This award recognizes the exemplary leadership of the educator who demonstrates highest professional standards in leading and managing educational unit, department and organization both in private and government sectors in the Basic Education, Higher Education Institutions, and the Technical-Vocational Institutions. The candidate holds managerial position, top management officials, heads of a department etc.
Boston Award for Excellence in Innovation & Entrepreneurship
This award recognizes excellent innovators who have contributed in the academic community with their unique innovations in preparing instructional materials, proponents of models of teaching, designer of intervention programs and initiator of school-based or community-based educational programs. It also recognizes other innovations which can be used in the community and nation-building.
Boston Award for Excellence in Business Administration
This award recognizes competent individual who display excellence in managing a business entity or unit. Candidates shall display high degree of competence in the field.
Boston Award for Excellence in Medicine, Health & Sciences
This award recognizes the contribution of health care workers who display sense of integrity and responsibility in delivering their tasks.
Boston Award for Excellence in Security & Public Safety
This award recognizes individuals who displayed bravery and gallantry in maintaining peace and order.
Boston Award for Excellence in Information & Communications Technology
This award recognizes individuals who displayed excellence in ICT.
Boston Award for Excellence in Community Development
This award recognizes individuals who are responsible in helping the underprivileged, and agents of peace.
Boston Award for Excellence in Teaching & Learning
This award recognizes teachers/instructors/professors who demonstrate exemplary performance in the teaching profession in the Basic Education, Higher Education Institutions, and the Technical-Vocational Institutions.
Boston Award for Excellence in Research or Authorship
This award recognizes research contribution of the candidate in producing scientific study published in a reputable international scientific refereed journal. For authors, they must show proofs of published books and articles in a registered publishing company locally and internationally.
Boston Excellence Award in Public Administration & Governance
This award is given to individuals who hold office in the government and deliver services to their constituents in accordance to the existing laws of the land.
Boston Award for Excellence in Media and Communications
This award recognizes the excellent contribution of individuals by being responsible agents of truth and social media influencer.
Boston Award for Excellence in Hospitality & Tourism Management
This award recognizes the contribution of individuals who display excellence and competence in this field.
Boston Award for Excellence in Social Services
This award recognizes the excellent contribution of the entrepreneurs and marketing managers in increasing value of economy in their country.

CONFERMENT OF HONORARY
DOCTORATE (HONORIS CAUSA)
- Upon the recommendation of the Search Committee for an Honorary Doctorate and the approval of the Board of Directors for the Boston Awards, a candidate may be conferred an honorary degree only in recognition of extraordinary and lasting distinction that represents the highest intellectual and moral values that reflect the character of the governing institution or organization.
- The awarding of an honorary degree is a recognition of a person whose life and achievements serve as a good example of the institution which can be emulated by the community and is worthy of high recognition.
- The candidate has contributed significantly to the cultural, scientific, and/or social development of the community, nation, or world. The contribution should be sustained over a period of years and should be lasting in nature. One should be able to document the national or international impact of the contributions. The mere holding of an executive position, public office, or professorship for many years is not sufficient. The creativity of the individual and the extraordinary character of the contributions must be evident.
- The individual receiving an honorary degree should have a sustained reputation over a period of years.
- The activities of the individual should contain outstanding contributions in scholarly research, teaching, and learning, the arts, public service, or business. The person might be a distinguished scholar in the natural, physical, or social sciences, the arts or humanities, or a distinguished person in public life, business, the professions, or the performing arts. Evaluation will be based on the level of intellectual and professional attainment and the significance of the contributions to the enrichment and/or welfare of the state, nation, or world.
